Who We Are
Hemet Valley Art Association, Inc. (HVAA) is a nonprofit community of artists, supporters, and volunteers serving the Hemet and San Jacinto Valley since 1963. Our member-supported gallery in Historic Downtown Hemet provides a welcoming place to create, exhibit, and enjoy fine art and photography. We serve artists and art lovers from Hemet, San Jacinto, Valle Vista, and surrounding Riverside County communities.
Our Mission
HVAA exists to encourage and develop an appreciation for, study of, and practice of the visual arts and photography in our community. We work to educate, inspire, and enrich the lives of others through our gallery, website, classes, exhibitions, events, and student achievement award fundraising activities. We believe that making and experiencing art is vital to the health and spirit of the Hemet Valley and to humanity as a whole.

Membership
Our membership is open to artists, students, and art lovers who want to support the visual arts in our region. Members can exhibit artwork in the gallery, enjoy member pricing on classes and workshops, participate in special events, and help guide HVAA’s future. Annual memberships are affordable, with options for individuals, couples, youth, and platinum lifetime supporters who want to make a lasting impact.

Classes & Workshops
Classes and Workshops for Every Skill Level
Everyone is welcome to explore their creativity at HVAA. We offer weekly classes and special workshops in drawing, watercolor, clay, photography, and more for adults, teens, and children.
Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time, returning to art after many years, or looking to strengthen your skills, you will find a friendly and encouraging place to learn. Our classes are led by practicing artists who enjoy sharing their knowledge and helping each individual grow at their own pace.
With daytime, evening, and weekend options, there are plenty of ways to get involved, meet other creative people, and try something new.

Evening of Art
Evening of Art is our annual student achievement celebration fundraiser, shining a spotlight on young artists from local schools. Each spring, this special evening brings together student artwork, community supporters, and a lively mix of auctions, demonstrations, and member pieces for sale, all to help fund future opportunities in the arts.
