A Blend of Realism with Imagination
Featuring Christine White
Join us for our next HVAA Demonstration Saturday featuring artist Christine White, whose work explores a compelling blend of realism and imagination.
Christine’s art is representational in style while incorporating imaginative elements that bring her subjects to life in unexpected ways. Her work often portrays surreal stories inspired by nature, capturing places, plants, and creatures through a creative and expressive lens.
This demonstration offers a unique opportunity to experience an artist’s creative process, gain inspiration, and connect with the local art community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Zentangling (or "tangling") is a meditative, easy-to-learn art form that involves creating intricate, beautiful images by drawing structured, repetitive patterns. Developed by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, this technique combines the concepts of "Zen" (meditative calmness) and "tangle" (structured, overlapping patterns) to foster focus, creativity, and inner peace.
