Crazy Crafty Collections of Clutter

Think of a swap meet - you pay to get in, you peruse the booths for great finds, and you go home happy. The biggest difference here? Tables were loaded with craft and art supplies, everything except the entry fee was free, and you could help yourself to up to 10 items.

Additionally, Kevin Robbins, an HVAA member, donated 11 children’s art kits from Hobby Lobby (where he is employed), which brought out nearly all of our junior members.

And there was food, lots and lots of food, which was also free. Pizza, salads, platters of fruit, cheeses and crackers, cookies and cakes, wine and beer, punch and water. No one went home hungry.

With everything being donated, all entry fees went to the art center. We made somewhere in the neighborhood of $600. Not bad for a collection of clutter!
